EAST ORANGE PUBLIC SAFETY COMPLEX + +
Deteriorating and over crowding in East Orange's 80-year-old building prompted the City to construct a new Public Safety Complex, better able to meet the needs of 320 employees processing over 7,000 prisoners annually. The City's construction consultant hired IA to design its new Dispatch Center, radio tower, E-911, telephone systems, infrastructure, and integrated security. The new Police Headquarters, a five-story 50,000 SF building, includes multi-purpose space to accommodate not only 25 jail cells, but also all of the amenities necessary for a fully-functioning municipal facility.
